Here are some popular questions that I get asked. If you have a question that isn't listed here, please get in touch or just send me a WhatsApp message, I'll be glad to help. 07971 89 38 62.

  • How do we book you?

    1.  If you haven't done so already, go to my wedding packages page and select which package(s) you'd like to book me for. Click "Check My Availability" (don't worry too much about the timings if you're not sure at this stage). I will try to respond within 48 hours or less.

    2.  I'll confirm my availability and my fee for the package(s) you've selected.

    3.  When you're happy with everything, I'll send you a link to a secure online booking form that allows you to tell me more about you and your wedding details (venue, contacts, song choices). This should take you less than five minutes to complete.

    4.  I will send you an invoice for the deposit. Once received, I will send you a booking confirmation. We will be in touch with each other during the lead up to your wedding day making sure we are both happy with the song choices and other finer details of your wedding.

  • How many songs do we need to choose for the ceremony package?

    Five songs. I ask that you choose one entrance song, three songs for the signing of the register which I will shorten if I need to and one song as you happily exit the ceremony as a married couple.

  • Where are you based and how far will you travel?

    I'm based in Teignmouth and although I'm known as The “Devon” Wedding Singer, I will travel all across the South West. All fees quoted on my wedding packages page are inclusive of travel up to 50 miles from Teignmouth.

  • What time will you arrive and how long do you need to set up?

    I like to arrive at the venue around 60-90 minutes before my start time, however it only takes me 30 minutes to set up.

  • When do we pay?

    You can pay the full amount as soon as you'd like. A minimum deposit of £100 is required to secure your date. The remaining balance is due either by cash on the day or by bank transfer a few days before. I also accept PayPal.

  • Do you have public liability insurance?

    Yes, I have my own individual public liability insurance. I am a member of the Musician's Union where members are insured for legal liability of £10 million, to cover injury to members of the public or damage to property.

  • Is there anything you need at the venue?

    I'm very low maintenance and I don't have any specific requests. I use a top quality wireless Bose speaker for the ceremony and drinks reception which allows me to roam around without the need for mains electricity for up to 6 hours. I have a larger PA system that I use for my evening set which will require mains electricity. I always have long extension leads with me so don't worry if there isn't any power near the stage/performance area.

    If you've booked me for the entire day and you feel like you want to feed me, then that is very much appreciated but not essential.

  • How much space do you take up?

    Here is a picture of me in a small corner of a room. As you can see I take up very little space.

  • Can we use your speakers to play music through and do you offer a DJ service?

    All of my wedding packages include an optional DJ service. I can create a playlist for you, or you can provide an MP3 player with the music you want. I will gladly play it through my speakers and manage it throughout the day in between my live performances. Remember to supply the correct charger lead!

  • If one of my guests wanted to sing at some point during the day, could they use your equipment?

    That's a great idea! As long as we arrange it beforehand so I can prepare — especially if they wanted me to play my guitar while they sang, for example.

  • Can we use your microphone and speakers for speeches or announcements?

    You are welcome to use my equipment. I will be on hand to make sure you are getting the best use of the equipment and that your guests can hear you clearly.
